The HP G72-b60us 17.3-Inch Notebook PC review

Everything is in the final. The affordable HP G72-b60US Notebook PC looks and feels strong impression, textured finish with HP biscotti legal prism design.

If you've wanted to get a notebook but couldn't part with your large desktop monitor, HP now gives you a reason to make the switch. Portability never looked this chic and (cheap).
I've never been a fan of large notebooks. To me, a notebook or laptop computer is something that should be portable; something that slips in and out of my bag effortlessly and isn't meant to indirectly build shoulder or back muscles. However, I might be changing my mind. The reason for this is the HP G72-b60us.
Sporting a generous 17 inch HD screen with HP's Brightview LED technology (1600 X 900 native resolution), this is definitely a life saver on long trips. The HP G72-b60us weighs in at a decent 3kgs (or 6.6 lbs) which is far from back-breaking. In contrast, the Dell Latitude E5400 (my work computer) is about 400gms lighter but only sports a 14 inch screen and the Toshiba Satellite L675-S7048, another 17 inch notebook, is 1kg heavier.

HP G72-b60us entered the segment of desktop replacement notebook market. Of some of the comments floating around the Internet, most people tend to agree that this is a good desktop replacement - and that is light enough to be mobile too! The usual suspects are there: a 500 GB HDD SATA, wireless b / g / n adapter, 4 GB DDR 3 RAM (minimum on most new machines running Windows 7), and an Intel I-3 with a clock frequency of 2, 4 GHz. Although it does not come with integrated Bluetooth technology is not so difficult to buy a Bluetooth adapter if you need it. I think I do not use Bluetooth, very often, so it is not the review for me. Plus, with Bluetooth eats battery very quickly!

What distinguishes the HP G72-b60us apart from other notebooks in its class have the same price (U.S. retail $ 599 after rebate HP Instant Store), the textured finish (no need to worry about fingerprints!), Altec Lansing stereo speakers and a sleek design. Ah, it's also relatively quiet and the keyboard is simply a joy to write.

So I finally found a Notebook PC team that's about all I need. The HP G72-b60us looks good, is light enough for me, a big screen high-definition widescreen and looks very good.
