There is nothing better than a cheap laptop computer that looks stylish and powerful, with Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 is exactly what you get. This is a sub-$ 600 notebook based on Intel Core i3 second generation processor, it is comfortable to use too much, and it also allows you to customize your cover design, so your laptop can go out and see something special.
Our pre-production Inspiron 15R comes with a configuration that you will not be able to buy (2 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive instead of 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive), but remains well during our tests. In the Blender 3D rendering and iTunes MP3 encoding test, it detects the 2.1 GHz Laptop Intel Core i3-2310M CPU time and 1min 57sec 8EC respectively.
To put these results in perspective, is almost as fast as the first generation CPU Core 2.53 i3. For example, the Medion Akoya E7216, which came with a 2.53 GHz processor Intel Core i3-380M registered in Blender and 1 minute 59 seconds 2 seconds in iTunes. The Medion also took 1 hour and 10 minutes to convert a DVD into a file of 1.5 GB Xvid, while the 15R took 1 hour and 15 minutes Inspiron. You can see that despite a slowing rate, processor, Dell can still sustain itself and that means you can use the 15R to convert videos for your phone and also to work photo and video editing.
The 15R N5110 uses the Intel integrated graphics Sandy Bridge, and this graphics solution recorded 3,316 points in 3DMark06. It is a good result for a cheap laptop notebook and that means you can use to play games, if you use a lower resolution settings and graphics low in detail.
Connection options edges N5110 15R are very useful for modern amenities, such as HDMI, eSATA and USB 3.0 (two of them), as a society, such as 10/100 Ethernet, VGA, USB 2.0, SD card slot, and headphone and microphone ports. You also get built-in DVD burner, webcam, 802.11n Wi-Fi (up to 150Mbps) and Bluetooth. Basically it is a well-stocked car price you pay.
We like the look of the Inspiron 15R. It has a beautiful curved design, and chrome around the keyboard is elegant. We like the light of the state apparatus, which is a beautiful white color instead of a retina burning, ultra bright blue. The screen is blank and it suffers from reflections, bad vertical angles, the ice ring may be annoying, too. On the other side of the screen, the lid can be inverted, so that you can use a different design - simply slip. We're a little cautious with this design though, as the lid covers out a little too easy (this is a lock to keep them in place, but it is not working properly on our test model). You must be careful when the laptop if you take the wrong direction and slides on the cover and you lose the laptop!
Overall the build quality of the N5110 Inspiron 15R is decent. very balanced and not too heavy (it weighs about 2.6 kg) feels, but the left side is tight. Frame makes clicking sounds as the pressure on the palm rest, and the left side of the keyboard is a bit 'too optimistic and strong when you press the keys. The keys are soft and have a good go, though, so it is not uncomfortable to write in this notebook for a long time. It gets a little 'hot when you use it on your lap for a long time, even if - especially if you use applications that require a lot of reading.
The touchpad is huge (102x56mm) and supports a lot of gestures and of one to two fingers, and is beautifully soft buttons. You can edit a gesture of support to your liking through the driver program.
48Wh (Watt hour) battery is sitting comfortably in the rear of the chassis. In our test battery discharge, which disable power management, enabling Wi-Fi, and screen brightness to optimize the loop Xvid encoded video, the 15R lasted 3h 33min. This is a good result for a cheap laptop from 15.6, but is beyond what the MSI i5 17min equipped CR640 made in the same test.
What do you get the Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 is a low-cost laptop with a lot of good features, decent speed and good battery life. There will also be the beginning of creaky and too glossy screen has a narrow viewing angle, and the ability to change the handset looks good, install the cover painting. Overall, although there are some negative aspects to the quality of construction, Inspiron 15R is a good notebook.

One last thing I noticed about this Dell, and they'll agree, it's blue. Check it IT services Denver references out they know.
Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 can run Ubuntu, Windows 7 and even Mac OSX Lion. This Dell is perfect for a Hackintosh. You can enjoy the Apple OS and the great thing is this Dell will let you experience Steve Job's product but in an ordinary PC hardware.
Thanks for such an interesting article here. I was searching for something like that for quite a long time and at last I have found it here.
Hi Gfxcasa! I bought the Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 for my Android OS installtion. I don't want an Android phone and tablet but I want a hacked OS installed on my Dell. Now my friends go crazy when they saw my netbook, it i run by Android and i am the only guy who have an android on my netbook.
I bought an HP Pavillion dv5 about 6 months ago. Also under $600. Great machine, I am biased towards the HP's. I think they are high quality laptops. It is a little short on performance when I have a ton of programs open but for $600 it's an outstanding machine.
I think the SONY Vaio line is also a great quality laptop.
