High-Speed All-in-One Printer Epson Stylus SX515W review

In fact, although the vast majority of the products of Brother, Canon, HP and Lexmark, Epson and himself, to use pigment inks or water-soluble dye, no doubt is truly a rare SX515W based on the resin-based inks on Epson DURABrite umbrella. In fact, an umbrella is the last thing this type of ink is needed, as its main claim to fame is that the production of water stain resistant, anti-fade prints on plain paper bog standard.

The strength of the prints on plain paper is not the only selling point SX515W because it is also well connected when it comes to a model that has an application discount prices. And the rigor of USB 2.0 and PictBridge ports, which also includes total Wi-Fi connectivity with a fast and happily the easy installation process is fully automatic, without mentioning the need to network your own password.
In the top (literally) with 5760 x 1440 dpi fast printer, you get a competent authority of 2400 x 2400 dpi CIS (Contact Image Sensor) scanner, which was associated with the logic of a panel of fashion and 6 control , 3 color LCD screen. The net result is an independent single copy in color or black and white, and direct photo printing through built-CF, MMC, MS, SD, SDHC and xD memory card readers.

Adding compatibility CompactFlash is good to have, and a product that is missing in many current all-in-one Lexmark printers as S605 Interact.

Not all good news though, because even if the four-color system is perfectly suited to the needs of printing, the image SX515W productivity is actually a dull, with limited color range, contrast, besides general look bad boring, even when printed on glossy photo paper.

In a fight with our simple timer, the entry of Epson's high-speed rotation with respect to documents output mono A4 pages of text in just four seconds. It turned out that only late-text and color graphics, at 28 seconds per page. Image output was essentially painfully slow, taking one minute and six seconds for a printed 6 x 4 inch medium quality mode, with a nap-inducing six minutes and forty seconds compared with A4 print quality high without edge of the picture. That is almost three and a half times slower than the Canon iP4700 in more than five times slower compared to the S605 Interact Lexmark.

One additional catch is true, we met was when we did not use the Epson for a week or two weeks, the Epson Stylus ink cartridges SX515W based resin had a bad practice to set the glue in head nozzles print, requiring a number of cleaning cycles to allow images.

Simple and effective, SX515W is ideal for printing or photocopying of documents with impeccable benefits however, taking into account the new inkjet printer offers exceptional quality with respect to images and documents, which is actually a horse trick.
